In 2012, the Department of Tourism of the City Council of Dénia, together with the Dénia Tourist Business Association and AEHTMA (Association of Hotel and Tourism Entrepreneurs of the Marina Alta) created the brand "Dénia, City of Gastronomy" with the aim of including, under this brand, all the events and actions that were to be carried out from that moment onwards jointly around gastronomy.
The INTERNATIONAL CREATIVE CUISINE COMPETITION OF THE RED PRAWN OF DÉNIA is open to professional chefs and enables the launch and promotion of young chefs who are committed to the creative cuisine.
